Introducing NOTIQ for Blue Sky at TARGET
Like many creatives, I've navigated through several moments of being overlooked and underestimated. There were times when I questioned the validity of my pursuits. But these moments of doubt and self-discovery have shaped me and my work.
About two years ago, Blue Sky, the leader in innovative time management tools, approached me for a licensing partnership to create something polished and professional for Target. If you've been following my pre-announcements leading up to this point, you'll know why this licensing collaboration is meaningful to me and our elegant community.
This NOTIQ for Blue Sky at Target collaboration made me feel seen.
I am reminded, and I hope you are as well, that:

- Shopping for the collection online or in-store lets Target know your preference for a polished and elegant style matters and that you want to see more.
- Shopping the collection encourages not just me but other independent designers to not give up on their dreams.

I Love Notiq! I just received my White Croc Demi Planner Cover and it is so refreshing! I’ve been using my Black Lizard Planner Cover for about 5 years. It’s in excellent condition!
I see you have a product in Target. I wish you the best.
However, I will not be patronizing Target for any products…and I haven’t since the boycott started.
I would love to see your product options in Barns and Nobels.

For the last few years I have carried the BlueSky Weekly & Monthly calendar. Back to 2018 I have carried BlueSky products. For the last 5 years I have carried the bound 8 X 6 (approx.) planner. I loved the rounded edges and the leather/leather like feel.
At first glance at the 2025 planner, I thought, how elegant, but as one get’s pricked by rose thorns, I often was pricked by the sharp edges of the new styled planner with the sharp edges and reptilian embossing.
Previous year had rounded edges and that smooth feel:
Camel – great – still intact
Pink – great – still intact
Green – great – still intact
This year, 2025:
Black reptile – terrible – the binding finish fell off in the first quarter of the year of normal use leaving me to either replace it or carry a ratty looking calendar the rest of the year. I chose to carry the ratty looking calendar so I would remember the year BlueSky changed for the worse. I am looking towards 2026 to see what the planner style will be. Will the leather like feel and the rounded corners come back, will the cover have written “twenty twenty-six”, “2026” horizontally or vertically, what color will be selected…?
Mostly I hope the the disaster design and quality of 2025 will not return. I will begin to check Target the end of October.
