How To Gain More Confidence

In 2019, I founded NOTIQ and began my e-commerce entrepreneurship journey with little confidence. Coming from a different industry with a local service focus, the idea of succeeding in a new realm felt distant and intangible. If you feel this way about your goals, know that you are not alone.

As I navigated a new community, space, and industry, I initially felt small. One of the biggest challenges I faced was understanding the e-commerce landscape, which was vastly different from my previous experience. However, I gained momentum and guidance through reading books, watching videos, and listening to various resources that helped move me closer to my goals. The rest, as they say, is history.

Confidence comes from knowledge.

If this year has started slowly or on a rough note for you, and you feel a bit lost like I once did, remember that you can build your confidence by increasing your knowledge and minimizing what you don’t know. Confidence is fundamentally built on understanding, and you have the power to gain that understanding.

For example, if you’re struggling with finances or challenges in your business, consider identifying your specific issue. It could be a lack of understanding about financial management or a need for better marketing strategies. Once you've identified the issue, seek knowledge to help improve in that area. Sometimes, having someone to guide you, or surrounding yourself with those who have achieved your dreams, can greatly inspire and boost your confidence.

Remember, the more you know, the more equipped you’ll be to pursue your goals.
