Making an Impact: NOTIQ Contributes to Global Sustainability and Growth

How the Fashion-Forward Lifestyle Brand Does its Part in Helping with the World’s Biggest Missions

When NOTIQ’s Founder first launched the brand in 2019, she knew she wanted to do more. Beyond its humble beginnings, the company has since grown tremendously and continues to impact the lives of others through its efforts to help achieve the world’s biggest missions.

“I have a deep desire to help people move their lives forward,” says V.J, the Founder and Designer of NOTIQ, “I founded NOTIQ so I may touch, serve and change more lives all over the world.”

Apart from just providing  products to NOTIQ’s patrons, V.J. and her brand are committed to contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) for its 2030 agenda.

“As a brand, I have chosen to play my part by adopting numbers four, six, eight, and twelve of the UN’s goals to help with quality education, clean water and sanitation, decent work and economic growth, and responsible consumption and production.”

NOTIQ imagines a world where women are empowered to become more, and in return, change the world around them. NOTIQ’s founder is leading this global mission by example. In 2019, the brand supported emerging entrepreneurs and women in Nigeria by supplying business grants and resources to help them achieve their dreams. In 2020, the brand expanded its reach to Uganda in partnership with the Connect Africa Foundation to provide vocational skill training and business loans to support women in pursuing their goals. 

In addition, V.J. is dedicated to serving and improving the lives of the members of her team. With the launch of NOTIQ’s new cotton t-shirts in August 2021, the brand announced that a portion of the sales generated from the shirts would benefit the NOTIQ Entrepreneurship Grant Program. This program helped to foster the growth of one of the brand’s team members and her contributions.

NOTIQ also accomplished its goal of assisting with the world’s clean water efforts by supporting The Water Project, a charity focused on benefiting underdeveloped countries and water sustainability, through a portion of the brand’s water bottle sales.

Furthermore, the brand has continued to contribute to global sustainability and preservation through the use of clean energy and sustainable materials. Each of NOTIQ’s products are crafted using vegan leather in an effort to reduce the depletion of natural resources and materials, as well as minimize the impact of leather-tanning on the environment. NOTIQ’s items are then processed and packaged in the brand’s new warehouse which V.J. proudly says runs on 100% renewable energy. 

The brand has big goals to follow from its successful 2021 year in regards to its pursuit of impact on the world and the people in it. “Godwilling, we are hoping to do even more,” proclaims V.J.
