One Powerful Word You Should Know

When we read inspiring quotes, they can provide us with a sense of hope, optimism, and confidence that we can overcome any challenge that comes our way. They can also help us connect with our inner selves and remind us of our values, beliefs, and passions. Overall, inspiring quotes can profoundly impact our emotional well-being and help us live a more fulfilling life. The intentional choice of words makes an inspiring quote meaningful and powerful. As a writer and speaker, I value words. Words, as you know, are powerful. I pay close attention to the choice of words people make. Words can determine the trajectory of our lives in more ways than we imagine. If you seek to live a more elegant life and do more meaningful work, you should too.



Today, I'd like to share the meaning of one word featured in my favorite quote. It's the word, LOVELY.



If you missed NOTIQ's recent big news, we announced our all-new loyalty program, LoveLy Rewards. By inspiration, I chose the name "LoveLy" because the word "lovely" is often associated with positive emotions and conveys a sense of warmth, kindness, and love. The word "lovely" is an adjective that describes something or someone charming, attractive, delightful, or pleasing in a way that evokes feelings of affection or admiration.



In my heart, I think of you as lovely. I imagine you have the seed or qualities of love, beauty, charm, and admiration. I say this because you are a part of our elegant and lovely family at NOTIQ. As the old English proverb goes: Birds of a feather flock together.



My favorite quote was penned hundreds of years ago by a man named Paul (also known as Saint Paul). Like you and me, he was a very ambitious man. In one of his letters, he who wrote to encourage one of Europe's first churches where women played a significant role. He wrote:

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." (Philippians 4:8 NIV, my emphasis added)



Though he wrote these words hundreds of years ago, the words jump right out to me as though he just sent me a note last night. What words jump out to you?



Today, I am sharing with you the inspiration, power and beauty I have gained from these words. I hope these words and my favorite quote inspire you to keep going and not give up. I hope you'll gain the inspiration you need to sort through all the clutter and noise around you. I hope you'll reach for your agenda and plan the life of your dreams. I hope you choose to live more elegantly and work more meaningfully.
